What is CJSF?

The purpose of the California Junior Scholarship Federation, a state-wide organization of over 600 chapters, is to foster high standards of scholarship, service, and citizenship on the part of students of California's public and private junior high and middle schools.

What are the benefits of CJSF membership?

·       You must also maintain a 3.5 GPA or above each semester however, you will be able to reapply for CJSF the following semester.

·       In addition to referrals or suspensions, any student who is otherwise eligible, but who in the judgment of the Advisor and Principal is not a showing exemplary citizenship, membership will be taken away.

Community Service

CJSF Community/School Service Hours

You are going to Record your hours of volunteer service on this paper. Remember that you need 6 hours of community service. You are required to do 4 of those 6 hours to help different teachers at E.O. Green. You also need to undertake 3 different types of volunteer work signed by 2 different adults. So, for example, you cannot have 5 hours of just babysitting. Remember to count only work that you are “not” paid or compensated for. Tutoring a family member or friend, for example, is community service. Hours at a volunteer center or a church-affiliated group are great. Coaching a sport or helping out a needy neighbor also qualifies. Assisting anyone in need is, basically, good volunteer service. You MUST maintain a 3.5 GPA at end of every grading period…

SchoolBlocks offers a unique and powerful personalized search system. A member of the public, searching for "homework" might see an announcement from the school as the first result. However, if the user is logged in, they would see their teacher’s latest homework assignment as the top result.
